Finance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Director of Operations, leadership, and the Management Team to ensure the financial sustainability of Kehewin Cree Nation. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all financial contractual agreements and reporting, ensuring they are maintained in a timely manner. Additionally, you will play a key role in transferring knowledge and skill sets to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance department, administration, and management team, as well as our programs and services.

Housing Manager

Kehewin Cree Nation, AB

The Housing Manager is responsible for the overall management, administration, operation, planning, and direction of the Kehewin Cree Nation housing program. The Housing Manager will adopt various roles, including planner, technician, administrator, supervisor, communicator, and financial officer to ensure the successful operation of the housing program. In addition to developing and implementing housing policies, the housing manager will prepare budgets and manage tenant relations, oversee all aspects of new construction and renovation projects including resource allocation, scheduling, compliance with safety regulations, and coordination with stakeholders. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. Additionally, the Housing Manager Identifies various funding sources for housing projects in the community and prepares applications for those identified sources. Also, acting as the main liaison between Band Administration, tenants of Band-owned homes, and other community members on matters related to the Kehewin Housing program
